Studying photojournalism in Wales, UK, under Magnum photographer David Hurn highlighted the importance of "sensing the moment" and looking for the unusual viewpoint. My work as a photographer has taken me on assignments around Australia and to New Zealand, Singapore and Argentina. I have shot over 20 book titles for Australian and international publishers
that include the Australian Women's Weekly Home
Library, Lansdowne Press, Harper Collins, Those titles include The Heritage of French Cooking, The Heritage of Chinese Cooking, the Cooking With Style series, Cooking for Two, The Italian Gourmet, The Afterwork Cookbook, Cooking with Herbs, Closeup on Cakes, Healthy Heart, The New Japanese Cookbook and The Complete Mediterranean. My food photography has been acknowledged with a Silver Award at the World Food Media Awards and an Honourable Mention from the Australian Food Writers Awards.
